Meike Klaebe-Leuchtner, Geschäftsführerin und Inhaberin der Recruitment agency TRUST Promotion sagt: „Im Grunde sind heute alle Abläufe schneller und der Vorlauf ist kürzer.“ Auch wollten die Kunden, also Auftraggeber, heute mehr mitreden. „Ich freue mich, dass wir nun immer genauer wissen, was der Kunde möchte. Wir haben dadurch auch einen intensiveren Kontakt miteinander. Und im Bestfall ist es dann auch so, dass der Kunde nach einem gelungenen Event die Auswahl des Personals beim nächsten Mal komplett uns überlässt , weil er uns als erfahrener Personalagentur vertraut.“

Abgesehen davon profitiere TRUST Promotion auch von den Problemen der kleinen Agenturen, wenn es zu Ausfällen komme – durch die zahlreichen persönlichen und langjährigen Beziehungen zu den Promotern und Hostessen seien kurzfristige Absagen seltener. Although the outfits are often still classic trouser suits, fortunately it doesn't always have to be the highest high heel, because even a hostess can't stand in them for ten hours and continue to smile happily.

Meike Klaebe-Leuchtner also recognizes problems with corporate identity outfits: "If the shoes are provided by the customer, the CI is right, but the shoe shape often doesn't fit every foot". So before she has a group of barefoot hostesses, she relies in the long term on the customer's insight or foresight when it comes to outfits.

Greater customer proximity and more responsibility

By using promoters and hostesses, everyone - from SMEs to large automotive companies - wanted to reach their customers directly. According to Meike Klaebe-Leuchtner, they have all increased their sales activities in the form of promotions year after year. She herself has been observing the market for more than 15 years and says: "Companies want to make their product tangible - be it through small product sampling campaigns or nationwide test drives. Today, anyone can actually take a test drive whenever they want - but the customer would first have to go to a dealership... . A hurdle for many interested parties."

The promoters from recruitment agencies such as TRUST Promotion, on the other hand, are where the customers are with the still very popular roadshows. And their activities have now expanded: "From generating hot leads (i.e. collecting data from interested customers, editor's note) to concluding sales contracts, my people do everything," explains Leuchtner.
